Abingdon

10 minute easy walk into town. Very well set out house with ample space and balcony overlooking the Thames with boats to watch whilst having a glass of wine. Very comfortable and met the profile

Disappointed

House was not of the standard we expected. More like a student house than a comfortable holiday home. Kitchen dirty especially oven and freezer; bed looked as though it had been slept in; cobwebs/dust; Shower screen didn’t fit so floor flooded; Hooks removed form all bedroom and bathroom doors; No bedroom mirrors; No washable mattress protectors so lying on hard buttons on mattress; Stained pillows; Limited useful bedroom furniture and bedside light missing; Thin curtains; Broken towel hook in toilet; Out dated battery smoke detectors (alarm sounded when oven opened) and no other fire safety.
