Small cottage perfect for part of the larger group.
We had a group of 8 adults & 9 kids/young adults all together for a week. The large house was the perfect place to do that = plenty of space for everyone, two docks, a sauna and a jacuzzi - the kitchen was fabulous, every type of cooking item possible. This cottage was an excellent place for one of the groups to stay at, close enough to be part of the larger group.

A Perfect Lake Cottage
My husband and I stayed in this charming cottage for a week while the family stayed in the main house. The cottage was built in 1908, but has been totally renovated to modern standards while retaining the original charm. There are views of the lake from every window, as the cottage sits on a point. It is a quiet and serene location and you feel like you belong to nature here. It’s a beautiful place to relax and recharge, while big enough for a family.

Just wow...
July 9-13 2017 stay. 2 couples, no kids. Tremendous property, even better people. Hard to imagine wanting more from a vacation. The property exudes retro-class. The grounds are gorgeous while remaining true to area. The Lake is well-suited for all activities, and may very well be the cleanest water one has experienced. This place has all the customary vacation amenities, and the hosts continuously ensure all needs are met. Our only request is that future guests treat this place, and these hosts, with the respect they deserve, so that we all may continue to experience this slice of heaven in Northern MN.
