About this property

This Hollywood-Style Art Deco period town home is a great location for your family trip to Silverwood, or week enjoying beautiful lake Coeur d'Alene. The townhome is an accommodating 2 bedroom 1 bath with a large living area. The property is .25 of an acre providing lots of outdoor/patio space . Each master bedroom has a queen bed, and the spare bedrooms are arranged with a twin/full bunk bed. Sleep one on the top and two on the bottom bunk. The large living area also is furnished with a futon and mattress, comfortably accommodating 7. In addition there is a full kitchen completely stocked with all the necessities, a laundry area, and dining area.
Best of all you can enjoy what N. Idaho is most famous for-the outdoors! The house has a large yard, perfect for kids, and outdoor dining and cooking area.

The house is furnished with a Flat screen HD television, DVD player, Free-WiFi, Netflix account, large video library, book library, microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine, stove top, oven, washer, dryer, fireplace, pots, pans, dishes, gas grill, cooking and eating utensils.

Also available with the rental is the use of a sit atop kayak, fishing poles, 3 adult bikes, and 4 kid bikes. Please notify us in advance if you would like to take advantage of these amenities.

GREEN CLEANED:

Both houses are cleaned using methods and products that are designed to preserve human health and environmental property. Please inquire for more. DUE to COVID-19 extra cleaning precautions are being implemented to prevent the spread of the virus. This includes the use of disinfectants, higher temperatures, and bedding/linens cleaned at least in water of 140 degrees as recommended.

* Both sides of the duplex are mirror images of each other, with the same floor layout , same square footage, and similar furniture (although not exactly the same in style, they are the same in type and quantity). We do reserve the right unless you specify otherwise to decide which side to accommodate you in. Please also realize that although we try our best to update images as often as possible, we do update items and furnishings on a regular basis and not everything in the picture maybe exact or available or should not be considered exact representations. Note; we are currently completing some exterior maintenance on the property which includes some painting, landscaping, as well as regular mowing, leaf pick up, etc. We will be mindful of your privacy and have a minimum number (1-2) of people working there at one time, outside only, and only during regular business operating hours.

Good homebase

We spent 4 days in Coeur d’alene area; two at Silverwood and 2 in the city, and it had what we needed. We ate out all dinners, which was great because the kitchen was small to prepare meals. It worked great for breakfast/lunch preparations. Bring your own ziploc baggies and Tupperware if you want to pack lunches for the park! The property was about a mile to the downtown restaurants, which was walkable for everyone but our 3.5 year old. The kids loved the bunk beds and we loved that they had their own bedroom. The owners were super responsive and helpful for a request we had about the thermostat. Overall it was a tidy simple place for us to use as our homebase to activities. Thanks for the stay!

My husband and I purchased this home in 2005. He grew up in Coeur d' Alene but attended school in Texas. I'm an Orange County girl, and was fortunate enough to meet somebody to bring me to this beautiful part of the country! We both are employed by a major airline and spend most of our free time using up those flight benefits! We have traveled to over 50 countries, and every time we pick up some sort of artifact to display at the vacation home!

Why they chose this property

It is the perfect location. Close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away that you can sleep quietly and peacefully. Coeur d' Alene has something for everybody! You will never get bored, and if for some odd reason you do, we have plenty of ideas for you. We love to share the local secrets with our guests!

What makes this property unique

We have been to some of the world’s most famous lakes-Lake Bled of Slovenia, Lake Powell, and even the lakes of Northern Italy, and can honestly say that none compare to the beauty of Coeur d' alene. Just a short 5 min walk from the house, you will find world class swimming holes! Enjoy your trip and if there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know.
