About this property

46m² holiday apartment with two rooms and terrace

The 46m² Herzogenhorn holiday apartment was renovated at the end of 2022 and has

bedroom

and a terrace

The cozy apartment is on the 1st floor of our house. Since our house was built into the rock, this is the 3rd level, which is accessed via the stairwell.

In the evening, enjoy your peace and quiet on the terrace, behind which lies the forest.
If the weather is good, you can grill on the fire bowl provided.

In the house you will find a sauna and massage (for a fee) as well as a room with drinks, some food and information material, books for rental and games.

Take a break with us in the beautiful, relaxing Black Forest. Enjoy the good healing climate with the fresh air and the peace.

The climatic health resort Schönwald, with its location at an altitude of 1000 meters, is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in nature for people of all ages.

From here you can start your hikes or bike tours on the very well signposted trails.
In winter you can go cross-country skiing or skating on one of the many trails in the immediate vicinity of our house. Or you can explore the nature with snowshoes. Directly across from our apartment house is the Dobel ski lift with ski school and rental. Schönwald is considered in the region as one of the snow-safe places.

In addition, you can expect a wide range of leisure activities in Schönwald and the surrounding area: such as the Triberg Waterfalls, the German Clock Museum, Galaxy Slide Paradise and much more.

Two small supermarkets, butcher's store, bakery, beverage store, greengrocer's store and farms with direct marketing are within walking distance. And if you don't want to cook yourself, you can choose from a variety of restaurants.

Our Journey to the Black Forest owes to these delicious apartments in Schönwald a big "Thank you!". As starting point to discover the wonders all around the "Hochschwarzwald" it is more than perfect. In less than half hour one can reach a lot of attractions and Naturparks of the region. The apartments were clean, super cozy, with a breathtaking view from the terrace over the woods and there was any comfort one needs in a regular apartment!Even the price was really fair and the owners are nicest!

Die Wohnungen (3) sind sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung in beste Qualität. War uns ein Vergnügen hier zu wohnen. Die Besitzer haben alle extra Wünsche gleich erfüllt. Die Kommunikation via e-mail funktionierte tadellos. Die ganze unsere Familie ( von 1 bis 85 Jahre alt) war begeistert,dass ich so schöne Apartments gefunden habe. Vielen Dank an Karen und Norbert.

Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund im Apartment war sehr schön, ruhig, gute Atmosphäre. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

We took over the former Hotel Julia in 2021 and are now running it as an apartment house, where both long-term tenants and holiday guests are very welcome.

We are an apartment house without a reception! The keys are handed over by code with a key box. Of course, our guests can always reach us by phone. We live in the apartment house ourselves.

Please note that our house is built into the rock. The apartments are in the upper part of the house on the 3rd and 4th levels.

You can book our rock grotto sauna exclusively for a fee after a nice hike or after skiing.
Or relax with a Reiki or Shiatsu treatment.

As described above, the holiday apartments are all lovingly and well equipped and will be renovated by the end of 2022. It is important to us that our guests feel completely comfortable, leave the stress of everyday life behind and let your soul dangle here in the beautiful nature of the Black Forest.
