The Music Guest House, located in Lisbon's most iconic districts: Chiado and Bairro Alto, features eight guestrooms spread over two floors, including one single room and one suite.

Bairro Alto Music GuestHouse provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, express check-in and check-out and a private bathroom with an oversized shower, the perfect choice for a short stay.

Located next to the famous Conservatorio Nacional, a music school founded in 1837 inspired the design of the rooms to translate the music and Lisbon mood through its textures, colours, and materials.

As a 100% Portuguese company, and to give our guests a deeper taste of Portugal, we chose Portuguese brands to create this Guest House, architecture, design, decoration, ceramics, textiles, amenities. Portuguese architects and designers created exclusive art pieces and developed a particular mood, taking the guesthouse name and location next to Conservatório (Music School) into account.

This is a great centrally located place. Gets you the bare amenities but for a decent price.The bathroom isnt very private, the partition between the bathroom and bedroom is semi-frosted so you can get a pretty good visual idea of what's going on in there in addition to no soundproofing.There's no street noise but because youre located by the main door, you might hear people coming and going frequently enough. People complained about the keypad but we had no issues at all, and as we had a extremely late arrival we were worried about that.The host was also super responsive (within minutes) when they let us have a late check out but we had to deal with the keypad number resetting

Perfect Location

My friend and I loved this room! It had a lot of cute branding and coffee for us in the morning. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere we wanted to go in 15-20 minutes. So many fun bars around the corner but the street was quiet and lovely.

Great location!

Great location, clean and friendly host. Very accommodating for last minute changes coming into Portugal. The only drawbacks were the noise from the front door, upstairs individuals and having two twin beds (as opposed to a queen or a king bed) pushed together.

Nice Stay

The unit is small but with everything you need. Daily cleaning service, comfortable bed, nice linens, towels & toiletries. The management company was excellent with communication. Our unit was ground floor so couldn't open the windows or shutters. There's a cute little wall unit more for deco, no where to put your suitcase or clothes.

This was my second stay at B-A and both were enjoyable. Philipa, the manager, was very pleasant and check-in was a breeze in fact my need to have access two hours early was accommodated. A light bulb burned out in the bathroom and was immediately replaced and a request for information about the neighborhood was quickly provided. The building was quiet as was the immediate street area. A bonus for me was B-A was only a five minute walk to the Luiz Camões Square and Chiado cafes and restaurants.

Great location and space

Close to the action of bairro alto but quiet enough to sleep. Ready check in and access, ideally located for restaurants, bars, clubs.
