Awarded best Copenhagen short term rental by TimeOut magazine in 2024.
The newly renovated penthouse is a two story home with lots of natural light, two beautifully decorated bathrooms, multiple cozy corners and that special warm welcome home feeling.
In an upscale neighbourhood next to the royal residence of Amalienborg staying in the penthouse is your best pick if you want to feel at home while away.
The Space:
This inner courtyard building was recently fully renovated and we merged the two top floors into one massive 184 sqm2 superior penthouse apartment. The historic charm is well preserved and with the two french balconies and a mix of city charm and Nordic design this is our staffs favourite apartment.
A tour of the place
The elevator takes you straight to the 3rd floor where the main entrance is. A short staircase leeds you into the the open living kitchen and dining area with plenty of natural lighting and a french balcony for the warm summer days. We build a luxurious bathroom on the first floor with a massive shower and all the stuff you need like washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can share a meal together at the dining table suitable for 8. A small loungearea with a comfortable sofa plus lounge chair and of course a huge Smart TV with complimentary Netflix leeds to the only bedroom on the first floor fitted with a quality kingsize bed (180x200cm). The sofa in the livingroom unfolds to a comfortable fullsize double bed (160x200cm)
The internal spiral staircase takes you to the second floor with two beautiful bedrooms both fitted with kingsize beds that can split into singles if preferred. Steel framed glass walls separate the bedrooms from a lounge area and private entrance for the top floor. There is another separate shower and toilet to be used for the two bedrooms on the top floor.
All the bedrooms have convenient sockets by the beds, some with USB plugs for phone charging. We always prepare the bedrooms with fresh new linens from Berendsen and two plush towels for all guests.
The building has the highest eco-certification (A15) and we don't use any single use plastics.
The Neighborhood:
The Little Mermaid, the Royal Castle, great shopping and outstanding restaurants. It’s all right around you here. Water buses are just a short walk from the apartment and can take you to sights like Freetown Christiania and the Opera House.
If you are exploring Copenhagen on foot, bike or from the water side, this is the ideal place to do it from.
Getting Around:
Taxi from CPH airport is about 300 DKK and 20-25 minutes
The train to Østerport departs from the airport. From Østerport it's a 10 minutes walk.
The Metro is the fastest and easiest way to get to most areas in Cph - The closest station is at Marmorkirken which is a 10 minute walk away.
Biking is what the danes do, so you can do the same and see the city as a local would. Check every corner, by biking, it's much easier to get around do to the traffic of cars and busses. Please see our digital guestbook for bike rentals.

This was the perfect place to stay for our 3 nights in Copenhagen,in the heart of the City,we were able to get around easily on foot;we had a blast!I highly recommend this property.
Couldn’t have asked for better accommodation and location for group of 7 ladies celebrating 50th birthday. Topped off our fabulous 6 days in Copenhagen. What a city!
Excellent location and very safe neighborhood. Overall clean apart from some of the bedding having a mildew smell. Mattresses were very firm. As expected stairs were somewhat narrow but could use external stairs. Good sized space to accommodate family of 6.
Overall good property, it was v hot one day and v difficult to get air into property. The fans helped but upstairs v hot.
Top 2 bedrooms could do with blinds also.
This property was exactly as presented. The location is in walking distance to many key Copenhagen attractions, while easy access to rental bikes and buses can get you to the further ones. There are great local restaurants but the kitchen is fully functional. Window shades provide privacy and darken the rooms to allow for a good nights sleep. The communication regarding this property was perfect.
