The property comprises of the main house with three spacious bedrooms all with en suite, A/C and luxury linens.
Open plan living, kitchen and indoor dining area leading outside to a huge covered patio area with seating area and dining table overlooking the swimming pool and tropical gardens.
Enjoy spectacular views of either the ocean or the jungle from every window in the house.
Balinese style pool house at the end of the pool to relax and unwind. The pool is 10mx3.5m with an additional area for children to play and steps to enter.
The guesthouse is a short walk away and comprises of open plan kitchen and living area, separate bedroom and bathroom and teak balcony to enjoy the jungle and ocean views.
Your hosts can help arrange any aspect of your stay from booking vehicle rentals to helping with activities, organising private chefs and giving the best local tips on the whole area.

Amazing Stay! We will be back!

My husband and I decided to celebrate Christmas with our families in Costa Rica and chose Cactus Blue Villas. We could not be happier with the location, both homes, and the whole experience. The owner and manager were amazing and provided great care and attention to all details. From helping us get a chef for Christmas dinner to quad rentals to letting us check out late so our toddler could nap to making sure we were comfortable....there was no detail missed. I would highly highly recommend Cactus Blue Villas! We will be back! Thank you for an incredible stay!!

king on the hill

The entire compound is situated on top of a hill surrounded by nothing but jungle and a distant ocean view. The house, amenities and interiors are beautifully designed. Scarlett and Lincoln are wonderful hosts who took care of us very well. You will receive what's promised.

Beautiful setting, quiet end of town

Perfect getaway with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The house and property are top of the line, the pool and outdoor area are amazing. We have been coming to Santa Teresa for a while and this is one of the best places we have stayed.

Idyllic stay in paradise

We spent 1 week at this beautiful property. The garden was amazing and the houses had everything you could want. The pool was used non stop by all, the rooms were large with ensuite bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything you could want. We stayed in the main house with our 3 kids, and the grandparents stayed in the 1 bedroom which worked out perfectly - they could slip of to their place for some peace and quiet whenever they needed. We will be returning next year for sure...!

Life in Eden

This is truly an amazing place to stay. From the first morning we awoke to the sounds of the tropical forest all around us, we were in love with this beautiful paradise.The 360 degree views, which overlook two incredible valleys and the ocean, were breathtaking and awaiting rediscovery with every sunrise and sunset. The villa is brand new and tastefully designed. We especially enjoyed the large open-plan kitchen and being able to prepare delicious meals and dine al fresco in the gorgeous patio - which is also perfect for doing yoga. The beach is only a 5 minute drive down the hill but I strongly recommend walking, you will spot amazing wildlife each trip. The walk back up the hill is good exercise and a refreshing swim in the lovely pool awaits you. Scarlett and Lincoln were truly accommodating and took care of our every need. They made us feel comfortable and welcome from our first inquiry until our final adios. We have stayed in Santa Teresa on various occasions but this is by far the best experience we have had and we will be definitely be coming back.

A move from grey rainy London in 2013 landed us here in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica and we have truly found our paradise.
We purchased a plot of land with no water and no electricity and after several years have transformed the property into a tropical gem.
The house has been meticulously thought through to ensure the most memorable and comfortable stay. No corner has been left unturned!

We are set back on a very quiet residential road away from noise and dust in town.
