Casa Ama is the newest of the Batik Costa Rica villas. Amazing design in a perfect location, just steps from the enchanting Playa Hermosa at the north end of Santa Teresa. This large designer villa is extremely private. The beautifully flowing living spaces are furnished with Balinese antiques and open to decks, garden and an infinity pool. The tropical garden is magnificent and there is a private yoga shala. The two downstairs bedrooms are extra large with A/C and the garden bathroom offer the experience of showering under the stars. The upstairs floor offers an ensuite very large bedroom with an exquisite breeze. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for a chef. This villa has a fantastic atmosphere and sits in an amazing setting immersed in nature. The location is the best you can find. We are just a couple of minutes walk from the best beach of the area, Playa Hermosa on the north end of Santa Teresa. From our property there is a direct jungle walking path that leads you to the beach. Between us and the sand there is only a small patch of green jungle.

Beautiful Property

The Batik property is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at the house, everything was perfect. And ended up being very happy we chose to stay closer to Hermosa Beach. In the morning, we would take the path from the property to the beach to surf or play in the ocean. Sometimes we saw monkeys on our way or on the way back, and always lots of crabs and birds. The pictures do not do this home justice. My family really enjoyed the living space and pool, and there is nothing like cooking in an open air kitchen. We enjoyed every minute. Antonio, the concierge, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you Antonio!!

The best resort we have ever seen!

Batik is a dream come true! It is perfectly maintained and clean, its staff always helpful and cheerful. We feel like home, it's amazing. Both owner and concierge are very kind to us, just like old friends from the first sight! The beach is so close - just a few steps away - that you can smell the salty air and listen to the ocean waves. And my husband can surf everyday! We love this place! Our Villa is so cozy, well furnished and with a lot of privacy. Large sunny deck and pool, fully equipped kitchen and many other leisure facilities :) The big bed is very comfortable and with several pillows, every night we have our best sleep, rocked by the sounds of Nature. We highly recommend this property. We hope to come back next year, meanwhile, we enjoy this marvellous experience. Viviana and Emanuele :=)
