Bolotho Barns are located in a rural setting near to the hamlet of Killiow and just a ten minute drive from the attractive county capital of Truro with its historic streets, markets, cathedral and cultural attractions. Guests will love the rolling landscape of fields, woodlands and streams of this special place. From here you are only 15-20 minutes drive from the enchanting creeks and estuaries of the south coast and the rugged coastline and surfing beaches of the north Cornish coast. The National Trust property, Trelissick, is just a 5 minute drive away, and there are several lovely pubs that do good food within a short drive from Bolotho Barns. Access to the Bissoe cycle trail is very nearby, which runs 'coast to coast' from Portreath to Devoran.

For interesting days out, you can visit places to the north like the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, or Tintagel, and to the west like St Ives or St Michael's Mount all within an hour's drive. In Falmouth, just twenty minutes away, there is a historic castle, maritime museum and the bustling harbour to discover. The nearby King Harry Car-Ferry takes you across to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, home to quiet beaches and St Mawes harbour village. Or follow a literary trail with the Cornwall of Rosamunde Pilcher from Lamorna to Padstow, or Daphne Du Maurier's Cornwall in Fowey and the Helford River. All within easy reach of Bolotho.
