We know that independence and privacy is important during a trip, so keys are left in a key safe for a super quick and easy check-in. the Host Liverpool team will be on hand to pop in, or answer any questions you might have, during your stay.
The neighbourhood is a residential and friendly place to stay. Nearby, you’ll find:
• Cardigan News, a convenience store directly opposite the house
• Lawrence Road, with a range of shops and takeaways, including:
- Co-operative food which is open until 11pm every night
- Sizzlers cafe: Authentic, home-made middle eastern cuisine. The Chicken or Lamb Qozi are amazing!
• Ragga's Caribbean restaurant on Smithdown Road
• Lodge Lane, which is fast becoming a foodie destination for locals in the know! Here, you'll find authentic food from all over the world in an eclectic and mixed community. In particular, you must try:
- Jerk Lodge, a Caribbean grill
- Lodge Lane Bakery - fantastic breads, and baked sweets from the middle east
- Coffee Lodge
- Sprinklez, a dessert restaurant
• Large Asda and Lidl nearby for all your Groceries
• Wavertree Botanic Gardens – closest park.
• Edge Lane retail park is a couple of mins up the road
From John Lennon Airport: Take any 86 Bus, and get dropped off at the bottom of Salisbury Road (40 min), or If there's a group of you, call Terry’s Tours on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). An 8-seater Minibus costs about £3.75 per person
From Lime Street: Walk Over to Queen’s Square Bus Station (directly opposite Lime Street Station) take any 79 Bus (A,B,C or D) and get off at the top of Cecil Street (10-15min)
From Liverpool ONE Bus Station: Take any 86 bus (A,B,C or D) and get off at the bottom of Salisbury Road (10-15 min)
Uber is operational in the City, so feel free to use the app or once again, If there is a group of you, call Terry’s Tours on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) as it will probably work out cheaper. A good Local Taxi Firm is Alpha Taxis on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) for groups of up to 4.
Driving / Parking: There is plenty of road parking outside the house, but please take care not to park in the two disabled bays marked on the road for my elderly neighbours :)
We’ll send you the key safe code on the morning of your arrival, and you’ll receive all the necessary instructions and house info between now and then.
We'll give you enough consumables (i.e. toilet rolls, washing up liquid, cleaning products etc.) for two nights. If you're staying with us longer, you'll need to top these up yourselves as necessary and we factor in discounts for longer stays for this very reason. We want you to enjoy a self-catered and independent stay :)
- Treat the place with respect and observe cleanliness.
- Be mindful of quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM
Prior to arrival:
- Booking terms and conditions will need to be signed
- You will need to provide ID and proof of address
-Bookings may only be made by a person aged 21 or above and there must be at least one person
