Serious hygienic issues (cockroaches and ants)
This house was in a very bad state, with serious hygienic issues: we found a big, very big cockroach in the kitchen just as we arrived (we encountered in total 6 cockroaches in the house during our staying), there was a plague of ants that surrounded any piece of food they found in the house, not to mention that the beds and pillows were very dirty, even though they said they had cleaned the house prior to our arrival.
The blinds of the living room were broken, and the agency only alerted us of this problem 2 hours before our arrival. They said they didn’t find any technician to fix it until the day after our arrival, which I can understand due to the fact that it’s August. However, what I cannot understand is why they didn’t see it before, given that the house was clearly empty for a long period of time before we arrived.
As for the communication with the agency, we asked for a relocation due to the ants and cockroaches issue and they denied to us this option. It’s tue they did send us a cleaning team to clean all that was dirty, but they didn’t find us other solution for the plague but giving us a treatment, which is highly toxic, even though we told them we would never use this having kids around.
To sum up, the house was in a very bad state, with sitios hygienic issues and the agency is not recommendable at all.
