sehr minimalistisch ausgestattet

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Was leider nicht in der Anzeige steht, ist, dass man zu der Ferienwohnung 100 Stufen hochsteigen muss. Die Küche war sehr mager ausgestattet: in der Wohnung mit 8 Betten gab es nur 6 Gläser, 5 Tassen und wenige Teller. Auch ansonsten war die Küche mit nichts ausgestattet, kein Lappen, kein Handtuch etc. Warmes Wasser gab es sowohl in der Küche, als auch im Bad manchmal, wenn man Glück hatte. Eine Toilettenbürste gab es in der Ferienwohnung auch nicht.

More cons than pros

We were unpleasantly surprised by having to hoof up 6 flights without an elevator, with all of our luggage. I now learned that the host doesn't have to disclose it but you have to ask. Also, even though it's on the 5th floor, ground floor is 0 in Europe, so you will be hoofing up 6 flights. Neighborhood is sketchy but it is convenient, we had two big men in our group so we are fine, otherwise I wouldn't stay in this neighborhood. Air conditioning is nice an cold, but two of the remotes didn't work so couldn't adjust the temp. Rooms were all very decent sizes, beds just OK, I slept on a twin bed for 2 nights and had a horrible backache, then I switched to a different bed and it was better. The place didn't feel clean, glasses and plates had fingerprints and residues on them, oven was filthy, both showers had visible mold, and literally there was no supplies, there were the single use shampoo packages with each towel set, a couple rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, but no hand soap, body soap, shampoo, dishwashing detergent, dishwashing sponge, paper towels, or trash can liners. I gave it a two star mainly because the property manager was awesome, super responsive and did everything he could to help us out.

Great Location, Lots of Stairs

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is located near the train station, which was highly convenient. The apartment itself was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. We were not prepared for the stairs. Oh my goodness, the stairs! The apartment is on the top floor of the building (which is listed in the ad) but the fact that there is no elevator for the building needs to be noted. This oversight was really our only problem with the apartment.

The room was not bad but the room was on the 5th floor, it means 6th floor in Japan. It was so hard to climb with suitcase. And once come back home, we never go out. We can't stay there without elevator. The owner should tell us about that before we choose the apartment.
