Pedro was extremely communicative and a fantastic host. He provided a link with all the information and recommendations a guest could dream of! The space is cozy and well decorated. The location is walking distance from downtown and the Leiria Castle. It is also very well located for day trips to surrounding towns. I would definitely recommend, we had a fantastic stay.

Charming little spot

Such a cute place! Our host was super responsive negotiating the online registration and the two remotes for the tv setup. The apartment (it feels more like an apartment to me) had a pretty mix of old furniture with modern decor. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bath was fine, and the beds were comfortable. The location for exploring this little city was great: walking distance to the funicular to the castle, close to a nice weekend market, and easy to the city center and museums.

Home Base to Explore Area

We chose this central location to do day trips to historical sites ( Alcobaça, Bathala & Tomar) and ocean area (Nazaré). It was not difficult to navigate our way in and out of town on the roads. We spent time walking Leiria and visiting the castle. As property is fairly close to stadium, pay attention to parking if there an event. The property worked out great and the host very easy to communicate with.

Pleasant stay and neat little rental

We enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very effective in answering questions promptly. A little difficult to unload our luggage as traffic on the street in high and and the divers drive very fast. Limited space on sidewalk to unload our luggage. No parking close to the rental. Parked on the street a block away - at least it was free :) In all, very clean and spacious. Supermarket and restaurants readily available walking distance. Thank you very much.

Leiria stay

The premises we stopped at was very tidy and very well presented. The double room at the front was an adequate size with a firm bed which was perfect for me. Whilst the premises was smaller than I expected this didn't detract at all from the comfort of our stay nor the convenience of the location. All the cooking utensils and pots and pans along with the crockery were of a good clean standard. The cooker and fridge were used through the visit and were more than adequate for our needs. I shan't mention the parking situation as it's been covered before in other reviews and you can read them yourself. Those reviews were useful. The best recommendation I could give for this location is that if I find myself visiting Leiria again, which I very well may find in the future, I would unquestionably use this location again. The property manager Pedro whom we communicated with during our stay was flexible, adaptive and very helpful throughout our stay. There was never any issue with his communication from beginning to end. I look forward to returning one day.
