The cottage is located in the village of Bolmen, which features picturesque buildings, a boat harbour, and a child-friendly swimming area. It’s a perfect starting point for all kinds of excursions and is ideal for couples or small families.
The cottage is a traditional red cottage with white trim and is beautifully situated right next to a pond. The cottage has a large, natural lot next to the forest in a quiet area. It features garden furniture and a grill.
The rooms, which offer direct access to the pond, are flooded with natural light from two sides, creating a charming summer atmosphere.
There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine/dryer, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a living room with a dining area and a comfortable seating area.
The upper floor features a sloping roof that extends all the way down to the floor. One section has two mattresses, and the other features seating with fantastic views of nature. There is also a small TV with SVT Play and Swedish channels.
The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village and is approximately 500 m from Lake Bolmen. Bolmen is the largest lake in Småland and is part of southern Sweden’s southernmost wilderness. The surrounding area is known for its rich variety of nature experiences, including several nature reserves. Two bicycles are available if you’d like to explore the surroundings, and if you’d like to go out on the lake, a canoe is included; you can also rent a motorboat at Bolmen’s campground.
The nearest town is Ljungby. It features both large shopping centers and small-scale businesses, as well as a variety of art and cultural offerings for all ages.
