A few miles upstream of Bridgnorth is Shrewsbury, England’s finest Tudor town, which has one of the best waterfronts, a wide variety of shops, bars and a riverside theatre. Attingham Park, Benthall Hall, Dudmaston Hall, Rays Farm Country Matters, Much Wenlock, West Midland Safari Park, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow are also well worth a visit.
