Fabulous villa with amazing view

Lovely villa with great accommodation, lovely pool and patio and good hosts. Just off main road but doesn’t detract from amazing views over Corinth gulf and sea breeze helped on those hot days. Gas bbq available and hot water can be put on each day for shower. Garden umbrellas not used as quite windy so worried they would tear. Diakopto to Kalavryta gorge trip ( 90 minutes by car from villa) enjoyed as was Delphi ( an hour) . Signage on road for Delphi could be improved as entrance not obvious and parking is at side of road. Villages around show unspoilt Greece which was great but some beach areas very crowded in august. Didn’t bother us though as we enjoyed time at villa with pool and our own drinks. Many lunch stops provided good Greek cuisine at very reasonable prices .

Eine unvergleichbare Aussicht vom Pool aus über den Golf von Korinth

Zuerst haben wir das Anwesen nicht gleich gefunden, da Google-Maps falsche Daten angibt. (Das Haus ist "oberhalb" der nicht zu stark befahrenen Küstenstraße) Dafür sind wir mit einem kalten Orangensaft und einem feuchten Handtuch (zum Erfrischen) empfangen worden. Im Schlafzimmer waren die Betten sehr bequem, die Schränke groß und alles sehr sauber. In der Küche war alles da, was man braucht. Das obere Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr groß und die Dusche sehr komfortabel. Der Pool ist auch sehr groß und wird regelmäßig gereinigt.(Achtung: Am Einstieg ist es über 2,20m tief, dafür kann man am anderen Ende kniend über den Golf von Korinth schauen) Der Besitzer hat täglich (per WhatsApp )über unser Wohlergehen nachgefragt. Dadurch haben wir auch kleine Verbesserungen der Anlage (nach UNSERER Meinung) mit ihm selbst geklärt und sind auf offene Ohren gestoßen. Alles in einem war es ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt.
