This stunning Georgian home is teaming with character and was once the vicarage dating back to the early 18th century and surrounded by lush lawns that you can explore. This stone-built Grade II listed holiday home is nestled on the edge of the quaint hamlet of Ystrad Meurig in Ceredigion. Close by, you can enjoy a plethora of walks, lots of birdlife with Red Kites and Buzzards plentiful and the nearby historic site of a 12th century Cistercian Abbey the Strata Florida Abbey is well worth a visit. The market town of Tregaron is a 15-minute drive away where you can enjoy local produce shops, restaurants and cafés.
Plas Bronmeurig is extremely spacious and beautifully furnished to a high standard throughout, the high ceilings and spacious rooms really do make your feel its grandeur. The large original sash windows have been meticulously restored to provide each room with an abundance of natural light. The wonderful Cors Caron Nature Reserve is close by and covers over 2,000 acres with three raised bogs built up from deep layers of peat that have taken around 12,000 years to form. A 10-minute drive are the scenic lakes of Teifi Pools - Llyn Egnant, Llyn Hir and Llyn Teifi surrounded by open moorland and renowned for their quality brown trout, angling permits are available locally. The harbour towns of Aberystwyth and Aberaeron are around a 30 and 40 minutes’ drive, which have great restaurants, boutique shops and a truly stunning coastline. Aberystwyth also offers a narrow-gauge railway, castle grounds, art centre and live theatre/music. Within a 30-minute drive you can also visit Devils Bridge.
