The living space downstairs has a front facing living room, and the kitchen to the rear accesses the enclosed rear garden which has a small decking area with a bench and table. There is inside space for dining, once meals and snacks have been prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

The expanse of indoor and outdoor activities in the nearby towns and villages will not leave you short of things to do. Explore the mining history of the Fife villages and visit the nearby Lochore Meadows Country Park for some sailing, rowing or a walk round the nature reserve. There are mountain bike trails and Scotland’s only cycling circuit is situated 5 mins drive from the house. Venture into Kirkcaldy for a walk round the Links Market when it’s on, or head to Burntisland or St Andrews for a day at the beach or perhaps a round of golf. A stone’s throw (well maybe 2 stone throws) away is Lochgelly train station providing services through the country, with Edinburgh only 40 minutes away.
