The entrance porch leads into the bright, double aspect living area with large central fireplace complete with ornamental log burner. The living room is decidedly spacious, making for an ideal spot to enjoy a board game or perhaps a film after a busy day exploring beautiful Purbeck.
Off the living room is a hallway which services two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with windows overlooking the patio garden. The bathroom benefits separate shower and full size bath; there is also a further WC off the utility room.
In the kitchen you will find modern appliances and fixtures, dining table to seat four and utility area with door leading to a paved section of the garden, complete with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The pretty cottage garden envelops the bungalow and offers a raised lawn area with bench, pretty flower beds and a secluded paved area.
During your stay you will be spoilt for choice with lots to see and do, a week just may not be enough time! Durlston Country Park is a firm favourite for some of the very best views in Dorset, along with a plethora of marine and wildlife. If you are lucky you may even spot a pod of dolphins or the resident grey seals, certainly worth packing your binoculars just in case! The park has a delightful café and lots of activities for children. You can even travel around the world in record time: the great globe is one of largest stone spheres in the world!
From Woody Hollow you can walk into the town centre and onto the sandy beach in around 15 minutes, however please be warned the walk back may be a little more challenging as it is uphill all the way!
Swanage caters for all ages with boutique shops, traditional seaside treats, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. There is even a mini theme park over looking the beach in the summer.
Within a short drive you will reach Studland with miles and miles of golden sands, a sun worshipper's paradise. If you are here in the colder months, why not warm up with a hot chocolate after blowing the cob webs away on a brisk walk to Old Harry Rocks?
The quaint village of Corfe Castle, watched over by one of the most iconic surviving castles from the civil war, is also within easy reach. The views from the top are breath-taking, be sure to stop by here for a visit during your stay.
