We loved the location of this cottage. It has stunning views and great walks from the doorstep, including to the beach.
Sam had thought of everything and the little touches she made for adults + kids were lovely.
The playroom was an added bonus and was great for rainy days, which we had a few.
Would definitely recommend
Stayed at this great cottage over New Year, very warm and cosy, lots of thoughtful touches by the owner. Setting is fantastic for walks from the door. Loved the games room. Would definitely go back.
Honestly cannot rate this property highly enough! The setting and views were outstanding. The property was fully equipped with every possible whim catered for. The local, village run facilities were fabulous and the games room an absolute bonus! It was peaceful and relaxing, yet a short drive or walk from some great restaurants and beautiful seaside walks. From start to finish Sam was the epitome of an excellent hostess! The welcome pack was well thought out and generous and she ensured that you felt welcome but was not at all intrusive. Would definitely stay again!
The perfect place to relax and enjoy the fabulous views. Close enough to all the great beaches this peninsula has to offer but far enough away to leave the crowds behind. The cottage has everything you will need for a great holiday and the welcome pack was amazing,
We had a wonderful holiday here. Sam was there when we arrived and spoilt us with a great welcome pack. She was available locally if needed but never intruded.
As soon as you arrive you feel yourself relaxing, the views are amazing and to hear the sheep around you. The cottage has everything you need and so many little touches make it a special place to stay.
The weather wasn’t always kind , so to have the games room was a real bonus.
The location is excellent- at the foot of the hills, yet within easy reach of main roads to get to local places. We did many walks straight from the cottage . Plenty of stunning beaches near by too.
We loved staying here and I’m sure we’ll be back
Thank you for offering us a perfect place to stay
Fantastic location, wonderful cottage, lovely welcome package from Sam: and a very thoughtful treasure hunt for our kids was a great surprise! Games room is flawless, and a good selection of DVDs and Wi-Fi for evening entertainment. Highly recommended.

Perfect Hideaway
Beautiful location.....warm welcome (with thoughtful surprise too!)...local info in abundance....but most of all a homely feel, relaxing, comfortable and cosy after a day's outing in wind, sun, rain, hail and sun again (yes it does rain sometimes too ;-) ).
I would normally greatly recommend this cottage to anybody but i think this time i'll keep it a secret....

Wonderfully quiet location, cosy, very clean and with everything you could wish in a cottage
Sam's cottage has been prepared with great care and attention to detail. It's obvious from the moment you walk in that she has a good understanding of what most people would expect in a holiday rental. The house is traditional and beautifully furnished with good quality white goods and clear and easy to understand instructions on how to use everything. We felt immediately at home. The location is ideal for walking from the house to explore the surrounding area as well as for getting in the car and discovering some of the great places on the Lleyn peninsula. We had a most enjoyable week there.

Amazing Stay
Beautiful cottage with fantastic views and a fantastic base for visiting the Llyn peninsular.
We had the most relaxing time and were blessed with near perfect blue sky...in March!
Sam had thought of everything even down to the lovely welcome basket of goodies.
Would highly recommend the cottage and would love to return.

This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. As others have stated, the photos don't do it justice. The cottage had everything that we needed and more, and is in a stunning location for fantastic walks. Sam has thought of everything and our children were delighted with the extras just for them. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return ourselves.

Superb holiday cottage
We had very good family stay in Sam's cottage. This charming cottage is fully equipped for a family stay with games, books, Blue-Ray films, large kitchen to cook relax (AGA style cooker) and a big garden/terrace with barbecue. We surely recommend you this lovely situated cottage.

Fantastic location, great quality and a friendly welcome!
We recently stayed at the cottage for a few days and loved every minute. The location of the cottage is amazing, right under a mountain, with sea views and well positioned to explore the Llyn Peninsula.
The photos of the cottage really don't do it justice, it is so much nicer in real life - tastefully furnished with high quality finishes, immaculately clean and equipped with everything a holiday-maker might need, and a few things you didn't know you needed!
Sam was a great host, with good communication in the run up to the stay, a personal welcome on the day, the provision of a lovely welcome hamper of local food and drink, and the offer of being on hand throughout our stay if we needed anything. I prefer not to take hosts up on this type of offer but did need to ask for help, to which she replied quickly and very helpfully.
We are looking forward to returning again soon and can't recommend this cottage highly enough. Thanks Sam xx

Beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings
The pictures on the website were very accurate and on arrival and seeing in person it looked even better! Absolutely fantastic-meticulously clean, high standard of maintenance and so comfortable. Everything we needed was catered for- even a picnic hamper!
The patio and gardens are fabulous and the views from the cottage wonderful.
Sam the owner was so helpful and thoughtful-meeting us at the property to show us around and letting us know she was available at any time if needed as lived nearby. Also, as we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary we had asked about dining out - Sam offered to pay for taxis to take us to and from a restaurant of our choice so that we could leave our car as there were no restaurants within walking distance. That is customer service above and beyond!
The welcome pack was amazing with little extra touches added making it extra special and we were happily surprised with our anniversary greetings and Prosecco from Sam!
As there was lots of detail on the website for things to see and do, we had already planned our week from that, and the cottage has lots more information and leaftlets too. We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstep of the cottage-stunning area and views, and most helpful information on these was provided at the cottage. We visited castles, travelled on the Welsh Highland Steam railway and went up to the summit of Snowdon on the mountain railway(steam is best). Portmeirion was brilliant and the drive along the llanberis pass was fabulous.
The cottage is well placed for things to see and do and a wonderful place to relax in after a days excursions.
We really enjoyed our week stay and would love to stay again in the future just to spend more time at the cottage relaxing!
Will definately recommend to friends and family.
Thank you Sam.

peaceful location in a lovely part of North Wales
If you are looking for a quiet location close to hill and coast walks then this is a perfect spot. From here we explored the Llyn Peninsular by bike and by car and also spent one day in Snowdonia. Some great beaches along the coast especially 'whistling sands' . A great cottage.

We stayed at Gors-lwyd for 4 nights
It is set in a stunning location with views from every window to the sea and Yr Eifl.
Very comfortable with lot's of character, warm and well equipped, we ate in each evening and there is everything you need.
We were met by Sam, which was great, very friendly and a welcome pack was provided with lot's of goodies which we enjoyed working our way through.
A great base to explore the Lleyn Peninsula, we walked every day on the coastal paths, the views were amazing.

beautiful cottage and location
If you are looking for a quite peaceful and gorgeous location then please take my word for it and book this property. the property is lovely, the owner Sam goes the extra mile with the welcome pack and all the extra's. A mountain and the sea as a backdrop and the walks which start from the front of the house are spectacular. we had a lovely week and intend to return later on in the year. We have stayed in several cottages over the past three years that have been lovely but this is the best. Sally and Rob

An immaculate cottage in a wonderful locatation.
We have stayed in self catering properties in a number of countries but this tops them all. The owners have thought of everything for a very comfortable stay and the property was spotlessly clean. The welcome hamper was much appreciated and the instruction guide was clear and helpful. Great walks from the door and a whole range of activities available to visitors, helped by
loads of useful information in the property. Nant Gwrtheryn, Aberdaron, Whistling Sands, Llanbedrog, Plas Yn Rhiw, Plas Newydd and the Welsh Highland Railway from Porthmadog were some highlights for us. Can't wait to come back next year - a first for us as we have never returned to a self-catering property before. We fully recommend Gors Lwyd.

Lovely location and excellent facilities
A delightful propert and in a fantastic setting with an easy to scale 'mini mountain' behind it (which our 4 and 6 year olds managed to walk up!). Really well set up with everything you could need and more, including a lovely welcome package of food and drinks and a treasure hunt for the kids. Perfect location for exploring the sights of North Wales. Would definitely stay again.
