Great pool, poor house and not private

Just before going we were informed that that the parking was shared but the rest of the house and pool not. What it means is that the house used to be bigger, a door was filled up and now that part of the house is rented out to some local workers watching you while you sit at the pool. The pool was big and good. The terrace.... no green, just tiles looking at a white wall. Not the best place to read when the sun is shining. And the house.... lacking in soul. Rather old even if the pictures give you another idea. Bathroom with holes in tiles where in the past something else was fastened. Livingroom without coffeetable, so you just will not sit there. As there are strangers in the parking, you keep the curtains closed. So... even the dining table you do not use. Kitchen had an induction coocking top, that was good. Cutlery etc... of almost camping quality and not in line with the 4 star hotel price one pays. The best was the absence of a curtain capable of keeping the sun out in the morning: good for early rises. The owner we have seen once as we locked ourselves out. He was reacting prompt and managed to enter via the lower floor bathroom window, for which we were grateful.

We're sorry you didn't like it. I tried to explain to him that in the master bedroom we have a blind, which you just need to close, it doesn't let any light through. The photographs are exactly the same as the house. Regarding the patio where you park, it is shared since the house next to it belongs to me. The front patio has mirrored windows, you could leave the curtains open, you can't see inside. The back of the house, where there is a barbecue, swimming pool, patio, is not shared and no one has access, it is so safe that the door is always left open.
