Fantastic Apartment

Wonderful stay. Valentina made our check in experience great. Apartment was excellent. The location was right in the center of the action in Trastevere but quiet at night with great air conditioning. Could of not asked for a better experience.

Great location in Trastavere

Great location. Good communication as well. We loved the terrace and being able to self cater. Beds were not 100% comfortable so bear that in mind if you need a comfy bed or are staying more than a couple of nights. Location made up for that for us

Calm and stylish

Very nice small balcony and conservatory, small appartment with everything needed and very tasteful. A calm island right in the middle of trastevere. Very sympathetic hosts!

Trastevere is much-changed

This rental was just fine. It has a terrace overlooking a verdant garden that is just lovely. Decent kitchen, washer, nice bathroom. The last time we stayed in Trastevere was 9 years ago, but it is much-changed since then. It has been trashed with graffiti. Not interesting either; mainly alienated people with no hope scribbling their 'names' proving to themselves and the world that they matter. It's very sad. For them, and for the neighborhood. All the restaurants now cater mostly to young people, Romans and tourists alike. Weekends the main piazza can fill with hundreds and hudreds of students etc. Most of the menus are nearly identical, and inexpensive. Pizza and pasta. Pasta and pizza. Also, the lovely and stylish boutiques are, for the most part, gone.

Shame about first impression.

When we said we would be arriving at 9am, we were told that would incur a 50 euro additional charge. Considering Valentina walked 5 steps from her front door to ours, I felt really cheated. This, I think, was once one apartment,now divided. It clearly says 2 bedrooms but it is one bed room only. There is a very old sofa in the living area, that Valentina said she was buying a new one. That didn’t help us - and I note she said the same thing to a previous guest, so maybe one day… The bathroom is good, the kitchen was fine - and the air conditioning in the bedroom good. There are building works in the common area, which can be loud during the day. Location was good too. Overall it was fine. Shame about the bad start.

Quiet Place in Trastevere

Amazingly quiet in heart of Trastevere as balcony looks out over large internal courtyard. Owners very responsive to our needs. Comfortable firm bed, but no place to read while another is sleeping as light pervades the whole space. Would definitely stay again.
