One of five apartments in The Glasgow Collection, this newly refurbished bright and spacious two bedroom main door apartment with its own private driveway and garden is situated a short walk away from the city centre and close to public transport links.
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac close to Glasgow Green, this modern ground floor apartment is only a 20 minute walk to the Merchant City or a 5 minute walk to the train station with a frequent service to the city centre taking only 6 minutes.
This apartment is an ideal base for couples or friends wishing to explore Glasgow and the surrounding area. Spend time enjoying all that the city has to offer and then relax and recharge in this quiet oasis next to Glasgow Green.
This contemporary, comfortable, ground floor apartment is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. With a small garden at the front and a private enclosed garden at the rear, this apartment has main door entry.
The front door leads into a small hallway with space for coats and shoes. This then opens into a spacious and bright lounge which has a comfortable swivel armchair, a stylish sofa and features a bright dining space with a glass dining table and four chairs. It is equipped with a smart Satellite TV with on demand apps such as BBC iPlayer and has fast internet access. The lounge leads to an internal hallway from which the two double bedrooms are accessed. The main bedroom has a double bed, a chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe which offers plenty of storage space. The second bedroom also has a built in wardrobe and a double bed. Both bedrooms overlook the rear garden.
The bathroom has a contemporary three piece white suite and shower over the bath, an LED demisting mirror and plenty of storage space. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven and the latest digital ceramic hob. . The private rear garden is fully enclosed by tall fencing and has a table with chairs, a rotary washing line for drying clothes and is accessed via a locked gate. Offstreet parking is provided by a private driveway adjacent to the apartment.
We provide tea, coffee and other essentials such as salt & pepper and olive oil to make your stay more comfortable. Hotel standard cotton bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. For your safety there are interconnected smoke alarms and a heat detector, a carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. If travelling by car the house can be easily reached from the M8, M74 and M77 motorways otherwise Bridgeton Train station is an 5 minute walk away,
The apartment is 5 minutes drive from the Celtic football ground and the Emirates Arena and 5 minutes drive from the Tollcross international swimming centre. A short walk will take you to Glasgow Green which is Glasgow’s oldest park and is a fantastic space to explore featuring the Peoples Palace, Nelsons Monument and the Templeton Factory. Glasgow Cross and the famous Tron are an 7 minute drive away and a 8 minute drive will take you to Glasgow Cathedral and Strathclyde University. The apartment is also a 8 minute drive to the Barrowlands and a 17 minute drive to the SECC/The Hydro.
Guests have full use of this self contained apartment.
We do not allow stag parties, hen parties, smoking or pets.
Check in is anytime after 3pm with flexible access to the house via a keybox
Check out time is 11am.
We live a short drive away so are available if required.
The apartment is close to the famous Merchant City which is renowned for its stunning architecture, high end shopping, top class restaurants, bustling trendy night life, thriving art scene and an outstanding cafe culture
Travel time to the airport is under 25 minutes with the express shuttle 7 minutes walk away. Queen Street Station is 5 minute train ride away from Bridgeton Station offering 4 trains an hour to Edinburgh along with other destinations throughout Scotland. Travelling south is easy with Central Train Station also being a 5 minute train ride away from Bridgeton Station offering an hourly service to London Euston.
The apartment is strictly non smoking and we would ask that you abide by this request Place refuse in the appropriate bins in the rear garden (Do not use the green bin at the side of the flat)
Do not remove linen or towels from the wardrobe area - any removals will be charged to you
Please keep noise levels down between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00
Please respect neighbours when entering and leaving the building
Any breakages must be reported
No smoking or drug use (** £100 cleaning charge taken from security deposit if there has been smoking in the flat**)
No parties, stag nights or hen nights
Please do not cut anything or put a hot pot directly in the work surface. Pot stands and chopping boards are provided for this purpose. There is also a glass worktop saver.
Ensure you have left the apartment by 11am on the day of check out
