Note: The rear garden is accessed via steep and uneven stairs, this is not suitable for those with limited mobility and please ensure children are supervised at all times. Borth Y Gest, a picturesque village known for its cliffs and bays, is easily accessible on foot or by car from the city. Just along the coast is Portmeirion, a renowned and distinctive Italianate settlement. Portmeirion, made famous as the setting for The Prisoner and the finale of Cold Feet, is a little town perched on a cliff on its own private peninsula, surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woods. As an added bonus, the area is home to the castles of Criccieth and Harlech, as well as beautiful, untouched beaches like Black Rock Sands, which feature stretches of sand that go on for miles. Zip World Slate Caves and Bounce Below are also easily accessible and provide a wide range of activities, from zipping along the underground caverns to jumping around in a giant trampoline. A wonderful base from which to explore Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.
