This property is in a great central location in Reykjavik but bear in mind that since you are central there it can be a bit noisy with bars nearAlso the hot water had a strong sulfur smell.
The apartment was great, clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was amazing and perfect to get around the city. The shower was my favorite place!

Warm Regards,

Check in process was unclear, had to reach out multiple times to get check in instructions. Gave us the wrong code for lockbox. Very limited towels and linens. Unclean bedding. The place smelled like sulfur, especially in the bathroom which was musty due to no fan. Across the street from a bar / nightclub so hear fairly loud noise at night.
Overall, there’s a lot of potential to make the apartment and the check in process better in the future. Fine for one night’s stay. Good location.

I traveled to Iceland with my husband and our mutual friend so having two bedrooms was perfect for us. The location was exceptional. It was a three minute walk to the Straeto bus stop and to the tourist bus stop number #6. We had all the conveniences of downtown, including fantastic restaurants and historic buildings. We did not spend a great deal of time at the apartment. Most days we left by 0800 and returned around 1900 and either left for dinner or northern lights excursions by 2000. The apartment was tidy and clean. There were very limited linens. However, we actually never showered at the apartment because we visited lagoons and the public pools at least every other day. We did request extra towels by the end of our stay and were told where to find them downstairs in a cabinet. One improvement to the apartment would be to have better storage for clothing items and toiletries. The bedrooms have a large wardrobe to hang items, but they are limited on drawer space so we were left leaving many of our items in suitcases. A chest of drawers in each bedroom would be a great improvement. Adding a shelf or rack to the bathroom would be nice as well because there’s very limited counter space at the sink so we had to leave our toiletries outside of the bathroom in the kitchen. The bathroom door was a struggle. It’s a sliding plastic door, but there is no handle and it doesn’t roll easily. We had to open and close the door from the outside for whoever went in.
