Another Great Stay At Chapelton Cottage
Another fab stay at Chapelton Cottage - our third this year! The cottage is very comfortable and clean, with everything we need. The welcome pack is great and much appreciated! It is ideally placed for everything we want to do - so much so, we have two more visits booked already!
We loved our stay at Chapelton Cottage! The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is very cosy and welcoming. Not only is it right on Loch Fyne, it is also very well located for exploring Argyll & Bute.

Always stay here we are in Scotland. It’s very convenient for lots of places to visit. The cottage is lovely and the views from the bedrooms are lovely. Lots of things to do in the area. This visit we went over to Bute and visited the Alpacas. We all loved it.

Fantastic Stay - Again
Lovely modern interior of a classic, old cottage. The location is great for the Loch Fyne area. Everywhere is a drive away, but that's Scotland -- Inverary, Loch Lomond / Lomond Shores, Dunoon / ferry ... and further afield. Strachur is beautiful with great walks and amazing views over the loch. This was our second trip and we'll likely come again. We've friends locally, so may be ab it biased, but we're not keen to look for other options now we've found this one! And a lovely welcome basket. The cottage could easily be warmed when cold, the bathroom's amazing, and Morrisons delivers there, which really helped (other supermarkets may be available).

Perfect holiday base!
A very comfortable and cosy pet friendly cottage that had everything needed for a long or short break. The addition of a few supplies including a bottle of Cava and chocolates was much appreciated after a long journey.
Lovely views over the loch and ideal location to explore the area. We will definitely book again. Thank you
Our cottage served as the perfect base for exploration, from Arran to Glencoe. It was easy to find, and convenient to main routes. It offered a great view of Loch Fyne, and plenty of easy walking around the area. It was helpful to have a clothes washer, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. Highly recommended.
What a beautiful wee cottage to stay, very welcoming and homely, very modern kitchen and bathroom with a fantastic shower. A thoughtful welcoming pack on arrival which helped us feel at home. Location is ideal for sight seeing, wildlife spotting and an array of walks close by. A wee stroll to the Creggans for dining and drinks. There a friendly well stocked wee shop 2 mins walk at
the Bay Cottage Tea Room. We will certainly be back again.

Lovely cottage with amazing views
Chapelton Cottage was very well equipped, lovely and cosy! Amazing views being able to see the loch from the cottage and within minutes you can walk along the loch shoreline, something my Labrador appreciated! There is a shop within a few minutes walk and the Creggans Inn with great food and drinks within a 15 minute walk. I would highly recommend here, the bottle of cava and eggs/bread/milk were also very much appreciated.

Chapelton cottage
Beautifully decorated ,calm and very welcoming ,everything you need for your stay ,we had a long weekend stay and it was perfect ,walks along the shore which is straight across the road .There is a wee shop across the road on the left or a petrol station with a well stocked shop up the hill on the right with a wee woodland walk on the way ,would I stay there again 100% yes I would ,in fact I didn't want to leave
This cottage has been beautifully renovated to a high spec, and the hosts haven't skimped on things like cutlery or pans. It's great to stay in and can easily be more than just a place to sleep. Strachur is small but spread out, and this cottage is more or less opposite the village shop, so really convenient, and it's easy to find and park at. The TV, blu-ray player and Wifi work fine, so you have entertainment and can be online if you wish. We know the village well and it's hard to think of a better spot for visitors. Morrisons found us pretty easily for the food delivery, and the cottage being blue helped with that. We'd definitely come back!
