The Holiday Cottage is situated along a quiet side street along the Iffley road which leads into Oxford. The cottage is a 15 minute walk to the city centre.

Can’t wait to stay again!

We loved every moment of our stay in Quince Cottage, the garden is lovely, the beds were comfortable and for our family of 3 it was the perfect place to tour Oxford and surrounding areas! We will definitely stay again!

Schönes Cottage, gute Lage - aber das Parken ist schwierig

Das Cottage ist für 4 Personen prima geeignet, gut ausgestattet und befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Zentrums in ruhiger Lage (Weg bis Zentrum: ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß, es gibt aber auch einen Bus). Der Grund, warum ich einen Stern abgezogen habe: Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass es zwar keinen zum Haus gehörigen Parkplatz gebe, man aber gut am Straßenrand des Viertels parken könne. Das stimmte leider nicht ganz, denn überall war tagsüber die Parkdauer auf 2 Stunden begrenzt. Danach durfte man für mindestens 2 Stunden nicht wieder in der Nähe parken. Der nahegelegene Parkplatz am Hinksey Park eignet sich zum längeren Parken auch nicht (zu teuer). Abgesehen davon kann ich die Unterkunft empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterfirma war einfach und angenehm.

Vicarage Lane has a lovely neighbourhood feel and you will quickly feel like a local. Vicarage Lane is a no through road which means that there is only limited traffic using the road and it is travelling slowly.

The property is located in the Oxford suburb of New Hinksey, just off the Abingdon Road which is one of the main routes into Oxford from the South. There is easy access to the ring road and to the A34.

- Hinksey Outdoor Pool is a haven on our lovely hot British summer days!
