Design apartment a few steps from the Two Towers of Bologna, ideal for exploring the city center on foot.

The apartment, located on the first floor reachable on foot, opens onto the living room furnished with a comfortable sofa, a TV set on a cabinet and a dining table. The modern kitchen is equipped with all amenities, including an oven and an espresso coffee machine.
The sleeping area consists of a bedroom equipped with a queen-size bed, a desk and a large closet, and a bedroom with a single bed. A bathroom with a shower, one with a bathtub and a laundry room complete the layout.
Guests will benefit from independent heating for colder days and free wi-fi.

*Please be informed that the city centre is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colours characterising its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 kms of porticoes. In the city centre there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

Via Altabella, Bologna, Italy

Altabella was very clean and just as pictured. It is very conveniently located (most within walking distance) to many historical sites, restaurants, and shopping areas. Having two bathrooms and a washing machine was very handy. We did have a problem with a clogged kitchen sink drain that became completely blocked the next day. The person who check us in bought some liquid drain cleaner which did not work. Eventually, when I was not able to get in touch with her, we bought a plunger and were able to unplug the drain. On the whole, the clogged drain was less problematic than my inability to communicate with the Wonderful Italy office, either by phone, text, or email. Only one of my phone calls, texts, to emails was answered while I was there.

Great location. Safe area. But very noisy. No AC so it was very hot to sleep. They only provided one key so you had to stay together or one to stay home because you needed key to get in and out. This was very inconvenient as we both had different tours.
