Very nice Camden house
We stayed three nights wanting to be close to our daughter who is attending university in London and whose residence hall is nearby. The house is one block off the High Street in Kentish Town, and there are many amenities nearby: Cafes, pubs, food stores, bus lines, bakeries, etc. It takes 30 minutes or so by bus to Trafalgar and 15 or so by bus to Kings Cross Station. The neighborhood for the most part is not touristy (the Camden Market/locks area is the exception).
The house has four nice sized bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. The bedroom upstairs on the street is the master and has an en-suite bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. Heating (in December) was very good. The other bathroom is on the landing upstairs. The kitchen area is long and narrow but serves its purpose well. The kitchen was stocked for basic cooking and included a toaster, French press coffee maker, Phillips pod coffee maker, dishwasher and combo washer/dryer. A small patio is off the kitchen. The house is very quiet and is on a dead end street (for cars), so there is little to no traffic.
We would stay here again. We had some issues with the clothes washer, and the rental place responded very well and were helpful.
