A place of refuge amid nature, wide sky with a forest nearby. This apartment is a part of a 16th-century castle, in Aywaille, also known as, Domaine Château de Dieupart and has 2 bedrooms and a living/dining room. Close to the river Amblève, in the middle of nature, yet close to the center of Aywaille.

Some of the outdoor activities in the immediate vicinity; from climbing to kayaking, caving to hiking and mountain biking, there are many possibilities in the adventurous environment. Nature Parc of High venn and the city of Spa lies within an hour's drive away. Visit the beautiful caves of Remouchamps, partly on foot and partly by boat. You will be amazed how nature has done its job in this cave, combined with a rich history which dates back to 8000 years ago.

Well-furnished terrace will ensure that you can dine under a clear sky, shared with other guests. Heating will ensure that the indoors are warm and pleasant. Play Equipment and Boules Court will keep the kids delighted. There is also a campsite on the estate.

Check in an der Rezeption des umliegenden Campingplatzes war sehr nett, man hatte trotz Verspätung auf uns gewartet. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, nur dass es in der Küche nicht mal Salz und Pfeffer oder gar Zucker gab, war etwas spärlich.Wir wurden auch nicht informiert, dass das Haus vollständig eingerüstet war und die Fenster blind von dem Arbeitsstaub.Aber die Lage hat alles wett gemacht, wir hatten sehr schöne Tage dort

Een mooi appartement, met alles wat je nodig hebt, in een prachtig oud kasteel van bijna 500 jaar oud. Het staat midden op de camping wat een gezellige reuring geeft. Een prachtig uitzicht op een Van hieruit is er genoeg te doen. Veel mogelijkheden om wandelingen te maken. Het riviertje langs de camping is zo'n 30 cm diep, en stroomt hard. De kinderen vermaken zich er met pootje baden (wel met zwemschoenen), beetje zwemmen en het maken van dammen. Er is een leuk wandelpad langs de rivier met verschillende speeltuinen en sportvelden vlakbij. Wel goed om te weten: het zwembad in het dorp is sinds de overstromingen in 2021 door schade momenteel gesloten.

De locatie in de buurt van Aywaille is handig voor toegang tot lokale attracties en we hebben genoten van een bezoek aan de grotten van Remouchamps. De keuken had de basisvoorzieningen, hoewel we graag wat meer keukengerei hadden gehad. De speeltoestellen voor buiten waren een leuke toevoeging voor de kinderen. Over het algemeen een prima verblijf, maar het meubilair voelde een beetje gedateerd aan.
