Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es wurde sauber vorgefunden. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, allerdings recht wenig Besteck und Geschirr. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Lage des Hauses. Es liegt zentral im Stadtkern. Auch ist ein großer Abstellraum für Fahrräder vorhanden, auch mit reichlich Steckdosen.

Kleines, aber feines Ferienhaus, zentral in Cocksdorp

Wir hatten eine schöne, entspannte und sehr stürmische Woche auf Texel. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was zum Wohlfühlen benötigt wird. Sauber, nicht vollgestellt mit dem typischen Ferienhaus-Dekokitsch, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, Küche perfekt ausgestattet mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Wir waren zu zweit hier, zu dritt wäre es meiner Meinung nach aber schon zu eng. Der Wohnraum ist zwar recht beengt, aber sehr geschickt eingerichtet, so dass wir es uns im Wohnzimmer trotzdem sehr gemütlich machen konnten mit Sofa und Sessel und mitgebrachten Kuscheldecken. Das WLAN funktioniert gut, der Fernseher bot alles, was man an Unterhaltung braucht, die Schlafzimmer waren schön, mit Boxspringbetten sehr bequem, Kissen und Matratzen hatten einen extra hygienischen Bezug, ein großer Kleiderschrank bot genügend Raum. Das Badezimmer war modern ausgestattet, leider Tag und Nacht mit unangenehmem Geruch nach Kanalisation. Wir meldeten dies der Service-Firma, die innerhalb 1/2 Stunde 2 Personen schickte. Nach deren Aussage muss beim Installieren der Abwasserrohre ein Bauteil vergessen worden sein, so dass der Geruch durch den Abfluss nach oben steigen konnte. Eine Reparatur hätte länger gedauert, so dass wir die letzten Tage darauf verzichtet haben. Warum uns dies vorher nicht mitgeteilt worden ist bzw. die Putzfirma dies nicht gemeldet hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Trotz diesem Manko, man hält sich ja nicht 24 Stunden im Bad auf, hatten wir eine schöne Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus.
