The perfect space for two, this 1 bedroom air-conditioned apartment has an inviting living room/kitchen with table for 2, bedroom with large king bed and white linen sheets, small modern bathroom with The White Company towels, and cute balcony with bistro chairs & small table. There's underfloor heating throughout.
The apartment is near 4 tube stations, all less than 10 mins’ walk away. Exciting neighbourhoods like Spitalfields, Shoreditch, the City of London and Wapping are all close by. I walk to Covent Garden & Soho in around 40 mins, or you could take the tube. Experience London from world-famous sights, to tree-filled Royal parks, to cosy riverside pubs, it’s always a good time of year to visit!

- The apartment is in a converted early 1900's building, located near a road and railway so noise is present. It is not soundproof. We provide earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.
- Some wardrobes are locked with personal items inside. Please do not attempt to open them.

The flat was perfect for the two of us. Located close to a couple of grocery stores and coffee shops. We walked to the Tower of London and piers for boat tours and river Uber. Also the Hop on/off bus was near by and a great way to tour the city. Our host was very helpful and easy to reach

Our stay in Eric’s flat was beyond our expectations. The apartment is a perfect size for a couple and well appointed by the host. The bed is comfortable and the AC worked well, especially during periods of unusual heat in London as was the case during our holiday. The location is also excellent with its proximity to Tube stations. We highly recommend the apartment.

Das Apartment ist sehr zu empfehlen. Kleiner, feiner Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne. Top is die Klimaanlage. Es war sehr heiß in London. Äußerst nett, dass Kaffeekapseln vorhanden waren, denn wo sollen Touristen die richtigen Kapseln für die Maschine finden. Eine Kleinigkeit, die viel ausmacht. Check-in etwas mühsam, mit den Codes waren die Türen nicht leicht zu öffnen. Kommunikation mit VRBO sehr mühsam. Hatte alle Informationen vom Besitzer bekommen. Eric Turner war sehr freundlich und geduldig mit meinen vielen Fragen. All in all a great city trip.

This cute apartment is great for visiting London. It is close to the tube, lots of places to eat, and maaybe best of all for us Canadians, Tim Horton's coffee in the cupboard. Eric was very helpful and helped us navigate with ease our first encounter with city transportation, which incidentally is amazingly easy.

Can’t say enough about Eric’s flat. He is very transparent with the goods and the bass. Yes it is right next to an overground line and yes you can hear it in the flat especially in the bedroom. I was very surprised that it did not bother me and yes you do get used to it. It’s a very comfortable flat from couch to bed and heat/air con. The neighborhood is much more lively than we thought it would be and close to a lot. Having 3 tube stations within a 10 minute walk was amazing and we used all of them. If I was going to have any negative’s it would be the volume of the people staying at the hostel that is a bit behind the flat, we had beautiful nights and wanted to have the living room doors open but could not because people were outside and very loud, can’t blame them as our weather was gorgeous and who wouldn’t want to be outside enjoying. Overall we highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this apartment. So close to Tower Hill subway station. We even were able to watch Netflix as guests in the evening. We cooked dinner every night. Only thing we missed were pot holders for getting things out of the oven.we would stay here again.

Great location, comfortable, and perfect

The flat was everything I hoped it would be. A surprisingly quiet and peaceful place to relax after a day in the hustle and bustle of London. Every amenity we needed was provided. The check in was smooth and easy. There are lots of options nearby for food and groceries.and tube stations within a 10 minute walk making it easy to get around London . Not to mention river transportation options. Eric is a gracious host and communications were excellent. This will be my go to accomodation the next time I travel to London.

Great apartment.

This apartment is just as advertised, and I would highly recommend it. Location is off the tourists’ beaten path (which I prefer) but very convenient to the Tube and several areas of interest within easy walking distance. Communication with host was great. Many pubs and grocery stores nearby. I’d stay there again.

We had limited time, heading to Edinburgh. This was convenient for a quick stop, walking to Tower Bridge, and stops Metro. Excellent in every way!

Lovely experience

It is a pleasant location with easy access to all of London. The apt is away from all the crowds in the West End. I really never noticed the train sounds at all; trains are less frequent during the night. I would stay here again.

Wonderful London Flat

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic flat in London, and I can't recommend it enough. The location was absolutely perfect with easy access to public transport and some wonderful restaurants. The flat itself was beautifully decorated, modern, and spotlessly clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. As mentioned in the listing, there is a train nearby but you get used the sounds, and I found at times, I didn’t even hear it. I used my earplugs and slept with ease. Plus I felt like the sounds added to the city life experience. Overall, this flat made my first experience in London everything I hoped for and more. It met all my expectations and made my stay in London truly enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city.

Comfortable, clean home base for weeklong stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment this past week. The host Eric has done a tremendous job thinking of all the details that makes a place comfortable and homey while traveling, which we appreciated very much! We liked the easy accessibility to various Tube stops, pubs and grocery stores and walkability to all that London offers. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to London! As the listing states the train can be heard in the bedroom, but we managed just fine and didn’t lose any sleep because of it…just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise.

Great place on the East end
