About this property

Chez Sampo: Comfort Plus Peace With Nearby Beaches And Beautiful Countryside

Viki and Richard welcome you to their comfortable and tranquil home in Arces, close to Royan in South West France. We are lucky to be able to enjoy the peace of the countryside while being only 10 minutes from the nearest beaches. We are a Finnish/English couple who have become happily installed here in SW France. We have recently renovated our lovely 18th century farmhouse to provide not only a home but also comfortable and restful gite. The original farmhouse, a Charentaise demi-longère has been dedicated to spacious and comfortable gite with 4 en suite bedrooms, and we have created our own living space in the barns and farm buildings. We have lived and worked in the area for many a year and know our way around well; we shall be here to provide you with all help and assistance to help you make the most of your stay in the beautiful Charente Maritime. So come on down!!

Great place for a family reunion

We've stayed at Vikki and Richard's place over Christmas. We've enjoyed the 4 bedrooms with their private bathrooms and toilets. The house is fully furnished and there are plenty of kitchenware available to prepare meals as well as awashing machine and a dishwasher.Arces is a very convenient location to drive to the coast.

Maison avec un emplacement idéal pour visiter Meschers, port Marant,Royan, La Rochelle, l'île d'Oléron.4 grandes chambres avec une cuisine spacieuse et salle à vivre. Partie de la maison des propriétaires mais totalement autonome.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la belle maison de Vikkie et Richard. Les pièces sont vastes, décorées avec goût. Les lits sont confortables. L'équipement est très complet. Le jardin est beau et agréable. La présence discrète des propriétaires sympas est pratique. Un seul hic, le réseau téléphonique est très mauvais. Le wifi n'est bon que dans la cuisine et le salon. Nous n'avons pas rencontré de problème pour stationner, appréciable

Cadre très agréable, calme ,reposant. Maison bien équipée. Le plus : chaque chambre a sa salle de bain. propriétaires très sympathiques, concert très apprécié.
