This charming cottage, built in 1828, sits in the grounds of a windmill. The cottage has more than enough space for two, with an open plan kitchen/living area and a reclining sofa, you’re sure to have a comfortable stay. There’s a large bedroom on the first floor with plenty of storage and king size bed with a plush mattress. Tyn Felin is located on the edge of Cemaes Bay, the most northerly village in Wales and is often referred to as Anglesey’s hidden gem.
This pretty fishing village will not disappoint with its glorious beaches, historic buildings, scenic walks and proximity to local attractions; such as a selection of shops, pubs and cafés on offer. Whatever you choose Tyn Felin offers the perfect base to explore and enjoy the beautiful village of Cemaes and the island beyond.
The fantastic island of Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and you’ll be spoilt for choice along the way regarding which beaches and famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife. You are just a short drive away from some of the island’s most famous sites, such as South Stack Lighthouse and Beaumaris, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a historic moated castle. You can take a boat trip from here at certain times of the year to visit Puffin Island! The Rib Ride boats also run from various locations across the island for the vast majority of the year and offer a fascinating insight into the history and the local wildlife. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy in this diverse region no matter your interests.
