Tolle Unterkunft in den italienischen Alpen

Wir haben eine Unterkunft in den italienischen Alpen gesucht, um von dort aus die 3-Zinnen-Wanderung zu machen. Die Unterkunft in Santo Stefano di Cadore war dazu gut geeignet. Man fährt zwar ungefähr eine Stunde bis zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung, doch das hat für uns gepasst. Santo Stefano di Cadore ist ein kleinerer Ort, größer ist ein paar Kilometer weiter Aronzo di Cadore, mit sehr viel mehr Restaurants etc. Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr neu und toll gestaltet, "der alpenländische Charme neu intepretiert". Viel Holz, aber auch modernes Metall. Die Küche ist gut gut mit Idea-Sachen ausgestattet, 2 Bäder sind praktisch. Die Matratzen sind recht hart, war mir gut gefallen hat, meiner Frau etwas weniger. Check-In verläuft automatisch mit einer Key-Box und Whatsapp-Nachrichten des Vermieters, das hat gut geklappt. Im Ort gibt es kleine Lädchen, die auch schon ab 7.30 Uhr aufhaben und wo man frische Brötchen und das wichtigste zum Leben bekommt. Zwei Minuspunkte: Das Haus liegt an der Hauptstraße, durch die auch nachts oder am frühen Morgen LKW rumpeln, das kann recht laut sein. UND: Die Wohnung hat kein WLAN. Das wird zwar nicht versprochen, ist aber in meinen Augen nicht mehr zeitgemäß (die Kinder haben gelitten...) , deshalb nur 4 / 5 Sternen. Aber die Wohnung an sich ist wirklich toll und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
