We, Andre and Reinalda, lived our youth in this area. We love the bride view, the dark nights, the overwelming silens. We left this region for work, but as you know home is where your heart is. After all those years living in the center of the Netherlands we love to go back home. So we often use this house ourselves with our family.

Why they chose this property

This part of Groningen is the most Beautiful. Nearby The Waddenzee, the national park Lauwersoog, the city Groningen with lot’s of students, cafés, culture etc. We love to swim in the river nearby our house. And even it’s on the country side you can walk to two Nice restaurants.

What makes this property unique

It has a roof of clay and grass. It looks like a bunker from the outside, or a hobbit home as some one even called it, but you’ll be surprised about the inside; light, cosy and bright.
