Great house in beautiful village
The house is quirky, lots of stairs, so could be a challenge with small children. Kitchen needs a few more items to meet expectations. Comfortable rooms & beds, great to have so many bathrooms. Location is superb in the centre of Falkland.

Lovely property in beautiful location
We really enjoyed our stay. There were 11 of us altogether;7 adults and 4 children. There is a playroom as you go inside and this is a bonus when holidaying with children. There was plenty of room with a lovely lounge to socialise with family. The facilities are really good and if you don't fancy cooking there are pubs nearby. We dined at the Covenanter which was excellent.

Great family house
I’d definitely recommend the house for a group booking. The games room was a great bonus and was used each night.

Perfect spot
Such a lovely house in the centre of Falkland. Easily big enough for ten of us (4 adults, 6 kids) with a quirky layout thanks to the age of the building! Lots to do in the area, Falkland Palace is a must with very knowledgeable staff, and there a beautiful walk through the woods, complete with Victorian tunnels and a path behind a waterfall which we all loved.

Just wow beautiful house and village
All I can say is this house is perfect for a family group brilliant base for Edinburgh and east coast .Village is lovely . Especially the vintage clothing shop at the back of this building. House has everything just bring your toothbrush & toothpaste .Showers have dispensers for all the toiletries you need. House is stunningly decorated.Beautiful furnishings. We invited our local relatives for breakfast on Sunday seared 11 around the large kitchen table .Beds very comfortable.Sitting room is lovely Netflix on the tv.The entire accommodation was spotless, not a speak off dust ,dirt in sight . You don’t have to even leave the village it has many beautiful shops, a deli , the castle , And gorgeous walks near by . Could not highly recommend this house enough .
