Newly renovated: updated outdoor shower, new living space and dining area.

This charming cottage is situated on a large corner lot just one and a half blocks off the Main Street of downtown Glen Arbor. This makes it an easy walk to the best shops and restaurants in the area.

Large palladium windows offer a beautiful view with plenty of natural light. A flag stone patio, fire pit and spacious decks are fully equipped for comfortable entertaining and easy outdoor dining. The outdoor shower provides comfort and enjoyment from a fun-packed day in the water or at the beach.

The Crystal River is located just a stone's throw away, with access to fishing, canoeing and kayaking. New putt-putt golf and extensive biking trails are located within walking distance of the cottage. Of course, Lake Michigan is a five-minute walk or a quick drive from the cottage giving you access to multiple beach sites and beautiful vistas.

Roomy cottage in the woods with all the comforts of home. Nicely furnished with lots of collectables reminding you that you are in a unique place up North. We had a great time and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful!

We stayed for a long weekend in the fall. The house was so beautifully decorated, well cared for, clean, and comfortable. It's the perfect place to stay no matter the weather - very spacious and the surrounding area is wooded and peaceful yet still walking distance to town.

A wonderful stay at Northerness!

My family and I stayed at Northerness this past week and it was wonderful! Lots of sleeping space, a great patio, an outdoor shower, lots of parking space, beach towels and chairs for our use, and a short walk to the town of Glen Arbor and the beach! We enjoyed our time and highly recommend! Thank you!

This home has everything -- four separate sleeping areas with linens provided, bikes, beach gear, outdoor games, kitchen supplies, fire pit, and air conditioning. The location is in a quiet wooded setting that is within walking distance to town, a beautiful bike path, and several beaches. A perfect Michigan vacation place!

Nice place to stay for a week close to everything in Glen Arbor. Owners had cottage fully equipped with everything you need plus!!! They truly thought of everything! Really enjoyed time with family in one of our favorite areas!

Glorious DT Glen Arbor in a lovely home

Clean and loaded with all the extras to make your stay perfect! Loved the petoskey stone / up north decor, too.The location was great for biking, beaching, dune climbing, kayaking, and more. Highly recommend this gem of a home.

Glen Arbor Gem

Beautiful cozy home a stones throw from downtown. Host provides everything you need to enjoy your stay. Really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck. We canoed the beautiful Crystal river, shopped downtown, and had a great time at Art's Tavern and Boondocks.

Great Location!

The property is really terrific. Plenty of room for the 8 of us, both indoors and out. Enjoy all of our meals on the porch. Love the living room addition and the upgraded outdoor shower. Walk to everything in Glen Arbor.

Wow! What a stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location, surroundings, and everything about the home was spectacular! We were lucky enough to enjoy the bonfire and outdoor space on our first night, and then the indoor fireplace the following nights. We made use of each meticulously designed space in the warm and inviting home. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a perfect environment for our family vacation!

While living in Boston we chose this area for our destination wedding to share our love for Michigan with family and friends from all over. Spending summer vacations and raising 2 children on Lake Michigan we finally found the perfect slice of heaven in Glen Arbor and called it Northeness.
