This is the Grand Mayan Grand Suite. Can be used in Riveria Maya (ocean side and across the street from Cirque Soleil Joya) or in Nuevo Vallarate (where the new Cirque Soleil theme park is scheduled to open in 2018). This unit is not ocean front, but is linked to the ocean and the pool areas by boardwalk. Or you can choose to be transported by golf cart. Many restaurants and activities are on site. There is no need to leave the resort. Luxury accommodations.

My sister-in-law and I purchased this property in 2016. We were in Mexico in January 2016. We like to travel together and we have a lot of fun. We liked the fact that this resort is NOT an all-inclusive resort. The resort is a luxury resort and it has many restaurants - fine dining and casual, you can eat by the pool, or you can heat up something in the microwave.
Why they chose this property
I feel safe at this property. There are guards at the gates and there are no roads to the condominiums. You reach the condominiums by boardwalk or by golf cart. There are activities day and night. You can join a water aerobics class at the pool and put your child in a children's activity. We chose this property because the Neuvo Vallarte property has the first Cirque Soleil theme park opening in 2018. You can choose either property.
What makes this property unique
While ownership is not affiliated in any way with Cirque Soleil, the Joya theatre is across the street from the Rivera Maya property. Again, the Neuvo Vallarte property is in the Cirque Soleil theme park that will open in 2018.
