This was a fantastic rental to stay in. The host was very responsive to my questions and helpful for the entire process. The apartment was even better than expected, with an amazing view from the balcony and convenient to everything we needed. It was more expensive generally, but on par with the cost of other rentals near the city center, and we think it was well worth the cost.

The place was in a very convenient location. It took about 10 minutes to walk from the train station and close to restaurants and shopping. It was clean and spacious compared to a hotel room. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Lucerne location

Nice 2 bedroom apartment right near everything. Very clean and great check in instructions. Our family of 4 adults were very comfortable. We had some challenges with the extended parking but parking location was very close and convenient otherwise.

Incredible location 5 minutes from chapel Bridge.

Nice condo on top floor of building with good views and easy walk to restaurants and groceries.Could use more frying pans and both bedrooms should have mirrors, but otherwise great. Very clean and well maintained. Wonderful balcony.

Great location but no parking in front so drivers stop around the corner. Coop supermarket is down the block. Easy walk to restaurants. Walkable to train station. The unit is clean. We stayed when temps were in 30s F. We were cold at night. Washer/dryer in building you can reserve time to use. Great view of the mountains. 6th floor unit with elevators. Owner is easy to communicate with.

The property was very centrally located and made it very convenient for us to access the rest of the country for various activities. The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. However, note for families: the street on which this property is located is very loud. We should have realized that the property did not have air conditioning. Also, there were some issues with cleanliness. Some of stuff from previous renters were left behind and the blankets didn’t seem too clean.

Great location

Great location for Old Town Lucerne, beautiful views of the mountain! The apartment was very clean and accessible. A few things to note would be the limited supply of toilet paper. As a family traveling through Europe, it was inconvenient for us to make stops to grab toilet paper while we had booked excursions and trips throughout the area. It was the only place we stayed where we had to worry about that. Additionally, the laundry is misleading and is by appointment only for the entire building. This is also tough when you are traveling and don’t have flexible timing. We were under the assumption it was in unit. Otherwise, a great space especially if you are touching down shortly in Lucerne!

Falsely Advertised

The photos are completely misleading. The unit had none of the artwork, Pillows, Bedding, or Area Rugs that were in the photos. The furniture in the living room and kitchen table and chairs also were not as in the photos, and were in poor condition and uncomfortable. It was a very dreary unit. I contacted the host Lukas and the responses were placating. When further pushed stated that he did not feel it should impact our stay. I disagree. This unit should be taken off the site. It reflects badly for VRBO and I will never book again.

Excellent location to old town and the train station. It is an easy walk to multiple grocery stores. The apartment was well appointed. We had 5 adults and we were all comfortable. The balcony was nice to have and you have good views. It is located on a busy street so there is traffic noise when you are outside but very little noise inside the apartment with the windows closed. I would suggest to the host that they provide luggage racks for suitcases since there are no dressers or closets in the bedrooms.
