Magical Castle for 4 on Historic Scottish Estate

This stunning gatehouse has been tastefully renovated in 2017 and is in the middle of our picturesque 4,000 acre estate. It is deceptively large and comfortably sleeps four people with two bathrooms. A perfect base to explore the highlands and cities of Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow one hour drive, Stirling 40 minutes, Highlands, 5 minutes).

Storybook

The East Gate Lodge was something out of a fairytale. The sheep in the meadow and getting to visit the castle was an extra treat. Beautiful place and great location for day trips. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The host is very kind and helpful. We really appreciated it. Amy

Magical Castle is an Overstatement

This property should not be listed as a castle. It’s a gate house at best. The smell of must and mold is overpowering and the amount of insects in the home was disturbing.
