El Molí de Dalt: Old water mill in the middle of nature in the Catalan Pyrenees

El Molí de Dalt is an old flour mill that has been renovated to accommodate guests. The house enjoys a prime location in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, surrounded by forests and just 15 minutes from the Port del Comte ski slopes.

The house can accommodate up to 12 guests. It has a usable floor area of approximately 300 m², spread over two floors and a spacious attic. As it is an old house, the floors are accessed via stairs, and the entrances are not wheelchair accessible. It is fully equipped and features spacious common areas, including two living rooms, a fireplace, an attic, a kitchen, a porch with a barbecue, adjacent meadows, a chicken coop, a vegetable garden, and a swimming pool during the summer season…

On the ground floor, the mill’s old machinery has been restored and turned into a museum, allowing visitors to see how a watermill used to operate; the large stone oven that was once used to bake bread has also been preserved.

All the rooms are located on the second floor; they have natural light and views of the estate’s natural surroundings.

Just a few metres from the house, you can take several trails for all kinds of excursions. At the Llosa del Cavall reservoir, you can rent various types of boats to enjoy spectacular views of the Vall de Lord while engaging in water sports.
