This delightful bright home is situated in a spectacular position on the front row of houses on Whiterock Bay, just across the road there is a small wall and then the sea. Strangford Lough is an area of outstanding natural beauty and this is a wonderful place to come and enjoy all it has to offer in comfort. The large picture window in the living room is an amazing place to sit and watch the fantastic bird life, paddle boarders, kayakers, boats and even the occasional seal will make an appearance.
The property is certified by Toursim NI and very comfortably sleeps 6 in three spacious bedrooms (king double and twin) with two bathrooms a good size family bathroom and one ensuite (the double room)
The large kitchen /dinning room has everything you could need for cooking as well as sea views and double doors to a secluded, enclosed, sun trap rear garden with a small patio and outdoor seating. The living room with the panoramic view of the lough, has a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights (logs available to purchase in local shop at Balloo). A utility room is also available by the back door with a washing machine and Belfast sink.
Access is up a flight of steps at the front of the house and there is a private driveway, which can easily accommodate 2 or 3 cars.
There is access to the sea, a few metres along the sea wall to the left of the property when exiting. Please note this is not a sandy beach and swimmers and kayakers do enter the water at this point, but sea shoes are needed, as the ground is rough stones. Also there is a large tidal range and parts of the shoreline can be muddy, which should never be walked on at low tide.
There is a local company renting kayaks and paddle boards, in the bay and they run courses, if of interest.
There is a restaurant and coffee shop, within 15 mins walk and a lovely walking trail around the island where the restaurant is located.
