About this property
Ein Cynefin - Stylish Country Hall, Sleeps 10, In Rural Flintshire
Ein Cynefin - Stylish Country Hall, Nestled between mountains and coastline in Rural Flintshire, Sleeps 10
Located on the doorstep to the Clwydian Mountains and North Wales coast, and only a stone's throw from Chester and Liverpool. A charming and unforgettable home to gather friends and family and celebrate this rich and historic area.
Built in 1860, Ein Cynefin retains hundreds of original features and its modest manorial hall charm. Over the years it has been stewarded by several notable families, but consistent across each stewardship is evidence of meticulous maintenance, improvements and love. The present owners truly cherish their home and have succeeded in creating a sublime and welcoming vibe. Ein Cynefin showcases its palpable Welsh history, whilst incorporating on point interior design and all the functionality we expect of a unique holiday stay.
Entertaining at this enchanting abode comes easy as the charming dual aspect dining room retains original window seats and bespoke wooden shutters as well as an original servants bell! After dinner, guests can splinter off into a plethora of cosy living spaces, lounges and snugs.
The kitchen has been carefully and purposely designed to embrace 'working Wales' - with fabrics sourced from the historic Welsh woolen mill Melin Tregwynt and brass lamps, an obvious nod to Wales' proud mining history. Together with the Welsh slate and flagstone pantry, there are plenty of appliances, space and utensils to cater for all of your guests.
The first floor gallery overlooks the sweeping staircase and baby Grand Piano below. Upstairs you will find five lush bedrooms, all ensuite and utterly unique. The bed configurations are perfect for mixed groups of family and friends; there are two king suites, two double bedrooms and a twin room. The tubs in every bathroom have been positioned so that they overlook either the grounds or westward over the dramatic Clwydian Range.
Outside there is a beautiful and secluded formal terrace and gardens for dining, morning coffee or afternoon tea. Big kids and smaller ones can explore the one acre of garden and orchards; there are 12 old heritage varieties of apple and guests are encouraged to pick their own fruit when in season. Why not round everyone up for a game of croquet or Molkky?!
Ein Cynefin is perfect for family celebrations, groups of friends and wedding accommodation and promises to be a memorable stay for you and your guests.
