The story behind the Hooikiep
The Hooikiep is inspired by the traditional Drenthe hay barn. Originally used for storing hay, straw, or grain, it was supported by four wooden posts with a movable thatched roof. We’ve translated this unique concept into an authentic holiday home, combining the cosy atmosphere of the past with modern comfort.
