Honeycomb Cottage is a traditional Cotswold Cottage with the original Cotswold stone on the exterior complete with attractive sage green windows. Inside, it has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. The cottage provides the perfect blend of tradition and modern convenience so it is an ideal base for those looking for a relaxing break in the stunning Cotswolds countryside.
The cottage is situated in the heart of Chipping Norton which is a charming Cotswolds market town widely known as the gateway to the Cotswolds. The quaint village is well served by shops, supermarkets (we have 4!), restaurants, cafes and pubs. Please review my local guide for more information about all of the many amenities that are on the doorstep in the village and in the surrounding area.
Outside the property, there are two parking spaces and a south west facing terrace which does catch the sun complete with a bench and a bistro table and chairs.

The chic Kitchen is finished to a high specification with stone work surfaces, soft close doors and Bosch appliances. There is a large fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the amenities you would need for cooking and entertaining. There is a dining table with 4 seats.
In the living area there is comfortable seating and a Smart TV with a guest Netflix account to use. Guests also can use the fibre broadband (circa 65 mbps/second download speed). There is a large feature window with views of the front terrace.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom with hanging space and space to store shoes. The entire ground floor benefits from under floor heating.
Upstairs, the entire first floor is laid with a luxurious soft silver carpet. There is a family bathroom complete with a cast iron bath and a high pressure shower. Towels will be provided for guests.
In the large main bedroom there is a king size bed, desk and chair, sofa bed (can comfortably sleep 2 if required), chest of drawers, full length mirror and two bed side tables. There is also hanging space in the built in wardrobe. The bedroom is dual aspect.
The second bedroom is spacious and light with two single beds, a large wardrobe and two bed side tables. There is also a desk and ergonomic chair in this bedroom so this property would equally suit two people travelling for business as well as those looking to have a relaxing holiday.
The property is professionally cleaned to a high standard before and after each stay and our previous guests have complimented us on the high standards we adhere to. For full transparency, the cleaning charge is fixed and every penny goes to our local cleaning company.
Comfortable bedding and Towels will be provided. If you would like an additional clean or bedding changeover during your stay then please let me know in advance and this can be arranged (for an additional cost). Tea & Coffee will also be provided for guests. Additional cleaning products are available under the sink along with the bin. Outside, there is a general waste and recycling bin in the nearby bin store marked as 'Number 3'. For guests on longer stays, the bin collection days are Monday (the weeks rotate between general waste (black bin) and recycling (blue bin), please put these out on Sunday evening as the collection is early on Monday. The cottage has two tandem parking spaces in front of the property clearly marked by a sage green sign entitled 'Honeycomb Cottage'. Please don't park in the two tandem spaces by the railings as they are my neighbours spaces!
If you need extra spaces then there is a free carpark on Albion Street, which is a short walk from the property. Please note, spaces in this car park are only available up to 12 hours in any given day.
There is a key safe and the code will be provided in your check in instructions as it is changed frequently.
Please note the bins are located in the bin store opposite and marked as “3”. The black bin is general waste and the blue bin is recycling.
