Town: The vibrant market town of Sowerby Bridge is located in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, in the Upper Calder Valley. You can utilise this town as a starting point for exploring the surrounding area because it serves as a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors national parks. Two rivers, two canals, and a wide variety of dining and drinking establishments may all be found in the mill town's centre. You may find something to suit everyone's tastes here, whether you want to try award-winning Indian cuisine at Kipling's restaurant or dine at one of the many restaurants on the Wharf with breathtaking views of the water. While you're here, you can choose to take in the countryside by going for a stroll along the Calder and Hebble Navigation, which looks to be a quiet and rural path, or you can bike 33 miles down the Rochdale Canal.
