Charming village house on the Mont Ventoux

Your holiday home is located in the heart of Provence on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, perfect for a direct departure by bike to tackle its world famous slopes. But also many other tours by bike (electric) or hiking to discover our beautiful region. In a pretty ochre-coloured hamlet close to the village of Bedoin (3 km).

Les Baux de Bedoin is a quiet hamlet with a real gentle way of life. You will find a bar & restaurant during the months of June, July and August and early September, a baker with bread baked in a wood-fired oven in the hamlet of Sainte Colombe (1.5 km away) and then the lively village of Bedoin (3 km) with many restaurants, bars, bike rental shops, supermarkets, second-hand goods shops, decoration shops... and above all, the superb Provençal market on Monday morning.

Close to Vaison la Romaine, Fontaine de Vaucluse, the antique village of l'Isle sur la Sorgue, Carpentras, Orange, Avignon (35 km), the lavender fields of Sault, the villages of the Luberon (Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux...) and the many picturesque Provençal villages to be discovered without delay! To refresh yourself: the municipal swimming pool of Bedoin, and the small lake of Mormoiron.

Free parking around the hamlet and you can park your bikes in a secure area.

The house is very charming, new additions were the great and comfortable garden furniture; very nice indeed! All in all, a lovely stay!

Our stay at the house was fantastic. The house is beautifully situated in a picturesque village. It’s ideal if you want to cycle up Mont Ventoux or go for lovely walks. Highly recommended.

Chez Fanny is a lovely house, all amenities are in place, it is cosy, well placed and worth a stay!

Everything really and the improvements made last winter where both bathrooms and the kitchen were spruced up makes your stay even better! Also, the addition of the desk (with printer, fast wifi etc) was very practical. We simply love this house and it's location! Madelon is a very gracious and friendly host.

Truly a comfortable and very cozy holiday location

The house interior, furniture, vintage decorations and love for details everywhere. The beds, bed linen and the patio were especially great. And, of course the fact that the house has a story, was nice. PS: if anything should be improved, the kitchen could need some more serving dishes and bowls but its a very minor detail :o) and would love to be able to stay in the house with 8 people instead of 6, - a challenge, I know, as the extra space all around is also really nice.

Lovely stay in a very cosy and convenient house, superbly located in a charming little hamlet

The house is cosy, beds are excellent, all amenities are available, including firewood in case of slightly colder weather. The host is very friendly, responds to email and app swiftly, gives nice tips and prepared the house lovingly and stopped by to say hi after some days. The location of the house is great, we very much enjoyed walking (or jogging) into town for market, supermarket, drinks and/or dinner just as much as we enjoyed cooking at home. Good location for cycling Mt Ventoux! Loved it!

Lovely maison with all what is needed and a terrasse

The maison is very nice with all what is needed. The kitchen is full equipped with modern machines (Miele and Liebherr !!). Huge living space on ground floor. Two rooms on first floor with bath room (Not to forget a 2nd bath room on 2nd floor with a another double bed we haven't used). A small way (only for pedestrians) separates the lovely terrasse from the maison. Garage should be with the maison. Nice neighbourhood (bicycle rental, restaurant and bar). Lovely village.

Wat is Chez Fanny een fijn huis! Meteen bij binnenkomst proef je de fijne sfeer en omarmt het huis je met haar charme ❤️. Het dorpje en het straatje zijn heel sfeervol. En de patio is als een kers op de taart. Zo heerlijk om hier ‘s ochtends op je gemak te ontbijten. Wij zijn in 14 dagen een beetje verliefd geworden op Chez Fanny en komen graag nog eens terug.

Absoluut top, een perfect huis in een erg leuk plaatsje/gehucht met een mooi centraal plein!

Het huisje is perfect, stijlvol ingericht, alsof het je eigen huis is, het ontbreekt de gasten aan niets. Een heerlijk groot terras. de perfecte plek om Bedoin (goed per fiets of wandelend bereikbaar via een secundaire weg!) en omgeving te verkennen. Een echte aanrader!

Our little village house is a real delight with its old communal wooden bread oven in the house, the pretty beams, the red ochre plaster and the magnificent rosebush gives all the charm to this typical Provencal house.
