Offering six guests a homely spot from which to explore the wonders of the Scottish coast. Stepping inside, guests will be welcomed to the cosy living room with a Freeview TV. The kitchen has all the amenities the designated chef needs to rustle up some hearty food after a day of exploring. When it’s time to retire for the evening, guests will be well accommodated with Freeview TVs in all bedrooms. The bathroom also boasts a shower over bath, and toilet.
Puffin Cottage is in a wonderful location for visiting Fraserburgh, Loch of Strathbeg and Banff, whether it be a last-minute romantic getaway or family summer holiday. There is a shop and post office, Chinese takeaway and ice cream parlour in the village. A regular bus service to local towns. Begin exploring the area with a quick trip to nearby St Combs. A walk along the beach, with a lovely stretch of sands to ramble on, before coming to the outflow of Loch of Strathbeg, continue to the Rattray Head Lighthouse, or cut the walk short by heading inland and coming back to the quaint fishing village via the dunes and farmland. Loch of Strathbeg Nature Reserve is Britain’s largest dune loch and is an RSPB site with a host of different bird species reliant on the loch as a wintering habitat; it is home to a visitor centre and is the perfect outing for any wildlife lovers!
