Take a walk up Steep Hill – browse the shops, eateries and pubs up this historic route (take your time, it’s called ‘Steep for a reason). When you reach the summit, you have the opportunity to visit the historic castle and the world famous cathedral (see if the kids can spot the elusive Lincoln Imp). Once you’ve made your way back down the hill, reward yourself with a drink or meal beside Brayford Pool marina! Further afield you can take a trip across the impressive Humber bridge, and spend a day in Hull at ‘The Deep’ Aquarium, one of the largest in the country.
